KCNT1 Resource and Support Page

Welcome to the KCNT1 Epilepsy Foundation’s special resource page, made for families who have a child with complex medical needs. Here, we’re here to help parents who are on a journey that might be a bit tough. It’s a bit like getting ready for a trip – just like how travelers pack their things, we have a bunch of helpful tools for you. It’s like carrying an umbrella for when it rains unexpectedly, or wearing strong hiking boots for steep paths, or having a friend to give you a hand when things are uncertain. Our toolkit is here to give you advice and help whenever you need it.

We know this journey has both really good times and some harder parts. Our goal is to give you the information and things you need to make it easier. Think of these things like your travel companions, helping you find your way even when things feel new and scary. Whether you need to know about special doctors, people who can support you when you’re feeling down, ideas about money, or understanding how to manage medicines, we’ve got a bunch of resources to show you the way.

Remember, just like travelers learn and figure things out, you’re strong enough to get through tough times and make this journey special for you and your child. And don’t forget, you’re not alone – we’ve picked out these special resources to help you find your path.
