Bike the Pike

Keep the Tradition Alive

Every September our community came together on West Chester Pike to ride for something bigger than ourselves.

You were part of that.

On a bike, or on a barstool.

Help us keep the tradition going.

A group of participants in white and purple shirts holds a "Bike the Pike" banner for KCNT1 Epilepsy Organization charity event.
Men wearing purple shirts gather with their bikes, advocating for the Epilepsy on Bike the Pike charity event.

The Story

In 2018, Tyler Higgins biked 18 miles from Havertown to West Chester University on a whim — just to bring friends together before the school year. That solo challenge became a community movement.

Every mile we ride, we ride for Leighanne.

The mission continues…

Information note on KCNT1 epilepsy, detailing its characteristics, potential triggers, and management strategies for patients.

What started as a solo ride became a movement and the numbers prove it!
